This is a very basic demo with limited functionalilty. The volume is a little low...I'm still trying to figure out the recording process. This demo doesn't check the form year yet. The demo forms are mixed years. It will improve over time. It uses the same technology as Thompson Reuters SurePrep and H&R Block. The forms are encrypted and sent to the Microsoft Azure cloud for OCR recognition. The results are then returned and further processing is done. There is also an option to run the service as a container on your computer so the data would not be sent to the cloud. Microsoft charges around $.01 - $.04 per page for processing. I think the goal at this point is to further develop its capabilties. Thanks for looking.
